HOW TO WEAR SLOGAN FASHION

Featuring a slogan on our everyday garms has been a genius move for many activists and even politicians over the years. We have been sending messages through our T-shirt’s since the early 1960’s. Encouraging people to wear a motto or a brand name is a subliminal and really effective way to start a movement, and since has seen many fashion houses jump on the trend.

Slogan clothing has been making it’s way through the world of fashion and into the designs of small independent brands and has even seen some of the most famous designers jump on the bandwagon, including the likes of Alexander Wang & DKNY. If not worn for a cause or a political movement, wearing slogan fashion is about feeling proud of a brand and what they stand for. It’s about being empowered by their values and in turn wanting to show it off to the world.

Slogan clothing is a popular choice for both adults and kids. But for kids particularly, it can be a key part of their expression to boost their confidence and give them a sense of belonging.

Slogan clothing marks their involvement in a brand and makes kids feel part of a unit where everyone is proud to wear a design which they love.
As parents, we can all agree that having kids clothing that will be suitable for all year round is super handy. Slogan fashion is bang on trend and perfect for all all seasons. It’s a versatile staple for your children’s Autumn/Winter wardrobe and here we narrow down some ideas on how to style it this season…

SO HOW DO I STYLE IT?

Try to keep it simple

You don’t want to take too much away from the slogan piece by pairing it with busy prints and clashing colours. Instead, it would be a good idea to keep the rest of your clothing simple so that the slogan piece remains the star of the show.

JUNIORS SLOGAN FUR COAT
For the Juniors Slogan Fur Coat, the fur is a statement in itself and is a great staple for Autumn/Winter so choose one-colour plain bottoms - either jeans or leggings. You could finish the outfit off with a pair of boots for a complete A/W look.
Classic denim Slogan T-shirts and denim is a classic, match made in heaven.

GIRLS WHITE LIMITED TEE

Pair the white T-shirt with some cool denim jeans. You could either go for a relaxed
straight leg, skinny for a more sleek look, or ripped for an edgy feel

Pairing a slogan T-shirt with denim doesn’t have to stop at jeans. You could try tucking the slogan T-shirt into a denim skirt and to beat the cold this A/W, wear with tights.

Go for bright & bold accessories

While the rest of your outfit might be more simple than your slogan item, it doesn’t mean your accessories should be too.

Elevate your slogan clothing with bright and bold accessories. Inject some colour into your outfit through hats, scarves and bags this A/W.
Any footwear goes...

The great thing about slogan T-shirts, long-sleeve tops or jumpers is that they pretty much go with any type of footwear.

Ultimate black long sleeved

Trainers work with all slogan tops and joggers and will give a cool relaxed vibe to any slogan outfit.
If you wanted to go for a smarter look, a worker boot or a desert style boot would be perfect for an A/W look.

Most importantly have fun with it

While we can suggest ideas, kids will have their own ideas on what they want to style their slogan clothing with and that freedom is great and should be encouraged!

House of Juniors were invited to Mini Mode 2019 where we showcased our luxury AW19 collection. Debuted during the iconic London Fashion week, the show was a glamourous and exciting affair. The fashion show wasn’t just filled with the cutest up and coming mini models displaying future trends, between catwalk shows it was celebration of young talent; featuring performances from young dancers, DJs, musicians, and presenters to entertain the audience. The show was open to the general public where stylish parents, hyper kids, and fashion fans filled the front row. Mini Mode was a fashion exhibit like no other, it featured a variety of designers from around the globe including established brands, and those just emerging into the world of kid’s fashion. Since Mini Mode was attended by an assortment of individuals from the press including VIPs, Influencers, and fashion buyers; our participation, as an emerging brand, in both the Industry show and Consumer show provided an opportunity to launch House of Juniors into the wider fashion scene. Our brand received high praise from a multitude of influencers, and we secured invitations for future fashion projects. Our unique monochrome aesthetic coupled with our adorable models were an audience favourite; notably our statement fur coat and abstract face print tees. House of Juniors, inspired by artistic icons like Picasso and Banksy, is both unique and visually pleasing. Through incorporating slogans like “Kids Boss” in our clothing we champion empowerment, individuality, and radiate a modernday cool kid vibe. By Jayda Etienne

    Hi

I would like to know if your transparency coat is only for girls? I would love my son to have one and was wondering if boys can wear it to. Also I would love to purchase one of your scafs. Thanks
